Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service establishment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
