We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain accurate financial records.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules and maintain a fast-paced environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
