Job Title: Agile Java Developer

Trigyn Technologies Limited 1 is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Montreal, Canada.

Job Description

This role requires a strong technical ability in various Java development environments and significant proficiency with Java 8 for web services (REST/SOAP exposed via WSDL). The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to understand complex business problems and requirements, an aptitude for translating these problems into workable designs and solutions, and will possess a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Java applications using Agile methodologies
  • Develop and maintain web services using Java 8 and REST/SOAP
  • Work with databases to design and implement database solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with modern Java (7/8) web service development
  • Experience with modern SDLC methodologies, including Agile processes
  • Technical skills: Spring, EJB, CXF, Eclipse, IntelliJ, RDBMS, SQL, Linux, and Windows
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a scripting language; Perl preferred
  • Experience in the financial industry
  • Familiarity with reporting concepts and design
  • Exposure to Scala beneficial
Education and Experience
