Job Title: Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team in Montreal. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale and distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex software systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the development process.
  • Work closely with the product management team to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • 7-9+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, databases, and middleware technologies.
  • Familiarity with MQ, Autosys, Hibernate, and Spring.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
  • Experience with multithreaded systems and iterative/agile development practices.
  • Comfortable working in a global delivery team and interacting with business users at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in investment banking.
