Job Title: Java 7/8 Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at Trigyn Technologies in Montreal, Canada.

Job Description

This role requires a strong technical background in Java development environments, with a focus on Java 8 for web services (REST/SOAP exposed via WSDL). The ideal candidate will have experience with basic database interfacing and design concepts, as well as a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop Java-based web services using Java 8
  2. Work with databases to design and implement data models
  3. Collaborate with the global team to deliver projects on time
Requirements
  1. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  2. Experience with modern Java (7/8) web service development
  3. Experience with modern SDLC methodologies, including Agile processes
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Spring, EJB, CXF
  2. Familiarity with IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ)
  3. Solid RDBMS and SQL knowledge
  4. Familiarity with Linux and Windows development environments
