About the Role

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of translation projects. This position requires excellent organizational skills, high-level customer care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Setup and Coordination: Assist with the entire project cycle, including project setup, coordination with clients, matching and coordination of translators and other linguists, and graphic design through to delivery.
  • Project Pricing and Budgeting: Coordinate and track project pricing, profit margins, and budgets to ensure accurate financial management.
  • Client Support and Solutions: Respond to and provide solutions for client queries and requests before, during, and after project completion (in coordination with the project manager).
  • Customer Service and Efficiency: Improve customer service, efficiency, and relationships with resources through effective communication and project management.
  • Quality and Consistency: Continually improve product quality through the management of client translation memories, glossaries, and guidelines, and monitor linguistic team performance to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Technical Development: Collaborate with our Translations AI development team to help drive technical developments in the field of translation AI.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in translation or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of previous work experience as a project coordinator within the translation industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluent (excellent written and spoken skills) in English and French.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Work applications.
  • Soft Skills: Superb planning and organizational skills, excellent communication/customer service skills, great attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, and strong sense of personal responsibility for projects and responsibilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with translation management software and translation memory software (Plunet / Memsource).
Work Arrangements
  • Hours of Work: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm Monday to Friday EST (Eastern Standard Time - Eastern North America).
  • Remote Work: This role is available for remote work.
