Electrical Field Engineer Opportunity

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is a leading provider of project delivery services, investing in people, community, and cutting-edge technology. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to support our team in Saskatoon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for electrical systems and equipment on-site.
  • Oversee the installation and troubleshooting of electrical components, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to verify the performance and integrity of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with the project team to address technical challenges and enhance electrical systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on electrical system status and suggest improvements.
  • Monitor project progress to meet timelines and budget requirements.
  • Train and support site personnel on electrical systems and safety practices.
  • Assist in developing and implementing effective electrical maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a field engineer, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes.
