Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jaura Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Scheduling and Reporting: Create and manage work schedules, prepare reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
Language and Work Hours

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and work 35 hours per week in a permanent position.
