We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Route Delivery Specialist to join our team at Little Big Recycling. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering various items and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Sell products over established routes and assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as needed.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Local and regional transportation/travel experience.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads (over 45 kg/100 lbs).
  • Excellent client focus, flexibility, judgement, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
