Conference Services Manager

The Conference Services Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of conference, banquet, wedding, and catering events at AccorHotel. This position requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with the Sales Team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and expectations are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients prior to and during events to confirm details and costs.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop client relationships and drive business growth.
- Upsell high-end food and beverage options, room upgrades, and team-building activities to enhance the event experience.
- Create detailed floor plans and BEOs for room setups, audio/visual, and food and beverage requirements.
- Ensure all required departments have BEOs 10 business days prior to the event.
- Manage group room blocks, attrition, and deposit schedules.
- Track and manage sold function space.
- Support the Sales Team in selling the hotel and attend weekly sales and communications meetings.
- Update changelogs daily and send personalized thank-you notes and evaluation forms to group organizers after the event.
- Post-secondary education in Business or Hospitality/Tourism is an asset.
- 24 years of experience in F&B and conferences/events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizing and time management skills.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented and keen attention to detail.
- Team player who contributes to a positive and supportive work environment.
