Scientific Expertise and Collaboration

We're seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Western Canada. As a key representative of Lilly, you will serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in Hematology and related disorders.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing in-depth, cutting-edge scientific information to the medical community
  • Gathering feedback and insights from scientific experts and thought leaders to inform Lilly's research and strategic direction
  • Facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and Lilly

You will be expected to maintain technical expertise within the therapeutic area, engage in continuous learning, and attend relevant scientific meetings. Your ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with external customers and internal colleagues will be essential to your success.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, Pharm D) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Oncology/Hematology
  • OR MSc in health care/professional designation (BScN, PT, RD etc.) considered if 5 or more years of relevant clinical experience in Oncology/Hematology
  • OR previous MSL experience and sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry

Preferred Skills:

  • Intellectual curiosity and intelligence about the field of Oncology/Hematology
  • Ability to critically appraise scientific information/literature
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to comprehend large amounts of scientific content
