Job Title: Automotive Body Repair Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team at BODY LINE COLLISION LTD. As an Automotive Body Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute repair work to be performed
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Accurate, client-focused, flexible, reliable, and a team player
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, youth, and Indigenous workers

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
