Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Appraisal Manager to lead our Auto Damage Appraisal Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing the performance potential of the unit through training and development, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and internal protocols, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Auto Damage Appraisal Unit to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal protocols and external legislative requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct quality and administrative file audits to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education combined with comparable experience in automotive collision repair or automotive mechanical repair industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Collision Estimator or Insurance Appraiser.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of vehicle damage analysis and negotiation skills.
  • Progressive experience in training, mentoring, and coaching employees.
