At FedEx Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced legal counsel to join our team. As a Legal Counsel I, you will provide critical support to our organization by offering expert legal advice and guidance on various matters.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent research and writing skills, as well as strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills. A LL.B. degree from an approved law school and admission to the Ontario Bar are essential requirements for this position. Additionally, proficiency in MS Office - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint is necessary, with basic proficiency in Excel also required.
Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred for candidates residing in the province of Quebec.
In this role, you will work closely with the Legal Counsel II to ensure seamless operations in accordance with federal, provincial, and local laws. You will be responsible for providing support, conducting research, and advising on legal matters that impact the corporation and its affiliates.
