Electrical Engineering Opportunity at Wood

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to join their Mining and Minerals Canada team in Vancouver, BC.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for providing Electrical Engineering support on major projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical engineering support on major projects
  • Lead the electrical engineering team and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Prepare detailed proposals and estimates for complex electrical engineering projects
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering designs and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
  • Professional Engineering (PEng) or ability to register as a Professional with EGBC
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset
