Finding the Right Person for the Job

Wood is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer Leader to join their team in Vancouver, BC.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support on major projects and working closely with the engineering manager to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • 20+ years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
  • Professional engineering (PEng) or ability to register as a professional with EGBC
  • Project management professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset

Requirements

  • A comprehensive understanding of North American electrical codes and standards
  • Diverse electrical engineering design background and proven experience in industrial and mining & metals projects
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to lead the electrical engineering team
  • Ability to coach, educate, and mentor less experienced engineers
