About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our award-winning Design + Innovation Team at Lenovo's design center in Morrisville, NC, USA.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary design teams to develop consumer-centric, groundbreaking UX/UI design and concepts for Lenovo's IDG business.
  • Design and develop innovative UX design solutions that wow our end-users and create value for business.
  • Leverage repeatable tools, templates, and process documentation to streamline design efforts.
  • Create end-to-end workflows, including user journeys, task analysis, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and evaluative research methods.
  • Translate user behavior research into user stories, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Produce high-quality creative solutions to complex problems based on research and goals.
  • Design, form, and present design proposals to team leaders.
  • Collaborate with SPM, SPO, STPM, and other experts to deliver high-quality design.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in graphic/web design, UX, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of UX design experience in consumer software or web-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding skills in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Experience in prototyping and working in a highly agile environment.
  • Experience in working with a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and directly with development teams for implementation of designs.
  • Understanding of how to use design artifacts to effectively build alignment, communicate ideas, and deliver an experience.
  • Self-motivated, thrive on challenges, and enjoy getting things done.
