Job Title: Medical Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Registered Nurse to join our team at Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. As a Medical Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Job Summary:

The Medical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing medical care and support to patients in our addiction treatment program. This includes conducting medical assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide medical care and support to patients, including administering medications and performing medical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience working in addiction treatment or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices
