Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at CRB. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from simple to complex, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee the discipline deliverables and budget on projects of all sizes
* Coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, as well as clients, construction managers, subcontractors, and vendors
* Manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities, and direct the work of others on projects
* Act as the mechanical point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, pre-con services for their scope areas, and help complete complex project code analysis, plan and prepare bid/permit/construction deliverables (including details and specifications)
* Develop project documents (e.g. calculations, reports, and construction drawings and specifications) for clients according to regulatory and industry standards
* Work with other disciplines to ensure system designs are fully coordinated from conception through completion

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (alternatively, a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical Option)
* 10+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
* Professional Registration (Licensure)
* Advanced experience with performing engineering calculations and developing and implementing HVAC, mechanical utility, plumbing/drainage fixture, fire protection, and piping systems designs
* Advanced experience with the mechanical/plumbing/fire code, and applicable building codes
* Advanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred
* LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design accredited professional preferred
* Intermediate experience with troubleshooting issues with mechanical systems required
