Senior Mechanical Engineer

MTS Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and design, with experience in leading product development and managing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for new products and product upgrades.
- Collaborate with operations, production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure engineering support and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including drafting, design, and testing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments, including installation, product, and design teams.
- Manage projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience, with a strong background in product development and leadership.
- Excellent SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, with experience in extrusion, die-cast tooling, and sheet metal design.
- Knowledge of GD&T and experience with industrial designers.
- Ability to travel internationally and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and project planning/management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
