Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team at ROCKY CROSS CONSTRUCTION (VICTORIA) LTD. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Dust furniture
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
