Job Title: Construction Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team at ROCKY CROSS CONSTRUCTION (VICTORIA) LTD. As a Construction Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Dust furniture
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Dependability, organized, reliability, efficient interpersonal skills
  • Own transportation
