Job Title: Construction Site Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Site Cleaner to join our team at ROCKY CROSS CONSTRUCTION (VICTORIA) LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment on our construction sites. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, operating industrial vacuum cleaners, and performing minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Dust furniture
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field
