Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Digital Banking Solutions Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for a multi-country, digital banking platform.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in product ownership, preferably in new digital product development. Prior experience working in large programs, or in payments and cash management space is an asset. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless digital customer experiences that support customer's cash management needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for a multi-country, digital banking platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams based on customer feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Prioritize features, themes, and epics in suitable levels of detail and prioritize them based on their respective business value.
  • Partner with UX and design to create seamless digital customer experiences that support customer's cash management needs.
  • Work with internal Risk & Compliance partners to ensure product suite meets evolving regulatory, compliance, legal, and internal policy requirements.
  • Post-launch, monitor product performance by tracking key metrics and user feedback, and adjust the product strategy and backlog as necessary.

As a Digital Banking Solutions Manager at Scotiabank, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, technology, or another relevant field.
  • Masters / MBA considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a nice-to-have.
  • Willingness to travel between our Toronto (Downtown) and Scarborough offices, thrice a week.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and the ability to identify key success metrics.
  • Has a consistent track record of building relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate must be capable of demonstrating critical thinking skills and creative problem solving.
  • Flexible and open, able to work in a highly collaborative and continually changing business environment.
  • Require a moderate degree of mobility - primarily phone, meetings, laptop.
  • Occasional commute to different locations of the bank may be required.
