Executive Culinary Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Chef to join our team at New Mooon Rice.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. As an Executive Culinary Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will analyze operating costs and other data to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. Additionally, you will demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, create new recipes, and prepare complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform business decisions.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
- Create new recipes and menus.
- Prepare complete meals and specialty foods for events.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary arts and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
This role requires working in a hot kitchen environment with non-smoking policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability.
