Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager, Member Services to lead our team of Member Service Representatives in providing exceptional service to our customers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to achieve sales targets and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Manager, Member Services to coordinate the needs of the branch and achieve team goals.
  • Exceed customer expectations with their banking needs.
  • Coach and develop Member Service Representatives in sales skills, building effective relationships, and embracing our purpose, mission, values, brand, and business practices.
  • Celebrate team successes and recognize individual achievements.
  • Exemplify our "How can we help you?" brand while achieving sales, growth, and profitability across each area of our business.
  • Oversee cash management and security-related matters in accordance with Coast Capital's standards.
  • Create a high-performing team by selecting, engaging, developing, and retaining star performers.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a similar position leading front-line employees for a minimum of four years in a bank or credit union.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Investment Funds in Canada certificate.
  • Strong ability to resolve member complaints with a smile.
  • Passionate about coaching employees to success, growing, and training individuals, and rewarding and recognizing employees.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technology banking systems.
