Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough foot patrols of buildings, both interior and exterior, to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access control systems to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilize radio communication systems to stay informed and coordinate with colleagues.
  • Monitor situations, property, and events to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and community members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License is mandatory.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
