Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough foot patrols of buildings, both interior and exterior, to ensure a secure environment.
  • Monitor access control systems to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Utilize radio communication to stay informed and coordinate with colleagues.
  • Monitor situations, property, and events to prevent and respond to potential security threats.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Security Guard License and relevant security experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with challenges and communicate effectively with clients and visitors.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain accurate records.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age and bondable.
Education and Certification
  • Grade 12 or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License.
