Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and repair fire alarm systems, including detectors, panels, and wiring
  • Perform routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation, testing, and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment:
  • Dusty and noisy work environment
  • May require working at heights and in confined spaces
