Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
  • Test and adjust repaired systems for proper functioning
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of work orders
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation, maintenance, or repair
  • Ability to work in dusty and noisy environments
  • Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Safety glasses/goggles
  • Gloves
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various settings, including urban and rural areas, and may be required to work overtime.
