Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Perform routine maintenance on fire alarm systems to prevent malfunctions
  • Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems
  • Provide customer service and support to clients
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: dusty, noisy
  • Work setting: repair, urban area, on-site customer service, rural area, remote location, installation
