Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie-CNB Full-time to join our culinary team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for the execution of menu item production, maintaining all company standards and adherence to all safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Item Production: Prepare, pre-cook, cook, and present menu items in a timely fashion, following standardized recipes.
  • Inventory Management: Submit food product requirements for purchasing and receive stock from receiving operations, labeling, dating, storing, and rotating in appropriate storage areas.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments and develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma; Culinary education an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary experience.
  • Certifications: Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment in the program an asset; Food Safety Certification.
  • Skills: Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License; ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication; computer literacy in MS Office.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, with major exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, and some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, risk of minor cuts and burns, and non-traditional work hours.
