About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our mobile patrol unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and coaching to our field staff, ensuring that they adhere to all company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, with experience in managing teams and coordinating site visits. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to field staff, ensuring they understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor field staff performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with the start-up of temporary static sites and provide stand-downs as required
  • Ensure all security guards assigned to the mobile patrol unit receive mandatory training
  • Maintain accurate records of client keys, access cards, and contact information
  • Participate in branch operations after-hours on-call rotation to provide emergency scheduling
  • Document and investigate security incidents and complaints
Requirements
  • A valid G-Class driver's license with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience
  • A valid Ontario security guard license
  • A valid first aid/CPR certification from a WSIB-approved course provider
  • A minimum of 1 year of security guard experience
  • Preference given to applicants with a post-secondary education in a law enforcement/security program or military/police training

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience
