Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Healthcare Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Navigation and Discharge Planning team, you will provide administrative support to enhance the patient experience and staff efficiency.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to maintain progress and efficiency in patient services and staff experience. This includes coordinating activities, scheduling, customer service, and ensuring equipment and supplies are intact and in good condition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Prior experience in an administrative/clerical role required, preferably within a healthcare environment
  • Keyboarding skills (40 wpm)
  • Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to effectively deescalate situations
  • Customer Service skills
  • Proven attendance record
  • Understanding and compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
