Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in our community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and outings
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns related to the individual's health and well-being
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work, or a related field)
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
