Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, part-time position working 7.5 to 22.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living activities, education, and community integration.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to clients with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
