Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Visual Inspection Specialist to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct equipment assessments and testing tasks in a team environment, under the direction of the Lead Technician.
  • Document all tasks per company procedures and industry standards.
  • Deploy to customer job sites as required for outages, working independently with general supervision.
  • Set up and maintain equipment during project execution.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a technical field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field would be a preference.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Field projects require shift work and extended hours.
  • Extensive site work is required (50%-60%).
  • Previous experience at a nuclear facility is an asset.
  • Visual inspection equipment and control system knowledge is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to access nuclear power plant sites.
  • Must be willing to work in a radiological environment.
