Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Inspection Technician to join our team at BWX Technologies. As a Visual Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections of nuclear equipment and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of nuclear equipment and systems to identify any defects or anomalies.
  • Document all inspection findings and results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to less experienced technicians.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a technical field, such as engineering or physics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, such as nuclear equipment inspection or quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
