Shop Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform equipment maintenance, testing, and repair, adhering to industry standards and Englobe's health and safety rules.
- Interact with Measurement Canada officials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment, utilizing national travel by land vehicle, air, or commercial ferry.
- Manage and document government-certified devices, maintaining accurate records.
- Manufacture shop aids and equipment as required, including shelving, storage units, fixtures, and CP sticks.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules, ensuring a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience required.
- Valid Canadian driver's license necessary.
- Welding experience an asset.
- Familiarity with AC and DC electricity, as well as general logic level voltage practices, an asset.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
