Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with expertise in heavy conveyor belts to join our dynamic team at Randstad Canada. Based in Burlington, Ontario, this role involves working on various industrial projects across southwest Ontario.

Salary & Benefits

Job Description

As a Heavy Industrial Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for installing, splicing, and removing belting systems, operating belt winders, performing conveyor adjustments, pulley lagging, rubber lining, and hot and cold belt repairs. You will also perform shop duties during downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a belt technician with mechanical knowledge specifically related to heavy conveyor belts.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong customer service skills.
