Occupational Therapist Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Penticton, BC.

About the Position:

This Occupational Therapist will provide independent and collaborative services as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Key responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for residents/clients/patients and their caregivers to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.

The successful candidate will contribute to the organization's goals, participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education, and provide work direction to rehabilitation assistants within the team.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $116,000 per year, based on experience, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
  • Eligibility for Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists membership
  • Valid BC Driver's License
