{"Job Title": "Payroll Administrator", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees. You will analyze data entered by others in the payroll software, including salary/wage increases, benefit deductions, employee termination dates, and employee leaves of absence or other unpaid leave. You will also be responsible for obeying current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data, including payroll taxes. Additionally, you will guide staff with pay-related issues, general questions related to payroll, PTO accruals, wage deductions, and fringe benefits. You will develop systems and protocols to direct the collection, calculation, and entering of pay data. You will also note voluntary deductions, as well as wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner, including reporting to the necessary authorities. You will oversee regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledger. You will aim for timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles. You will produce quarterly and year-end payroll reports. You will also pool resources with Human Resources, Information Technology, and other internal business partners to ensure security protocols for pay systems.

**Job Requirements:**

* Experience in working with HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets
* Skill in garnishments, processing liens, and various withholdings
* Union payroll experience
* Analytical Skills experience
* Canadian Payroll experience desired
* Reconcile Payroll experience preferred
* Deep understanding of Process Bi-weekly Payroll
* 3+ years of payroll experience
* -Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred
