Aplin and Associates Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, and perform data entry.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and balance period-end reports, compile statistics and reports, and prepare T4 statements and other statements.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize human resources software, MS Excel, and accounting software to perform tasks.
- Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed records, and communicate effectively with employees and management.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a payroll or related role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
