Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Winter 2025 Student Placement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in financial modeling and analysis, as well as develop your skills in due diligence and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients and to internal partner teams for junior capital solutions.
- Support deal teams with internal investment committee deliverables, including research and analysis.
- Support deal teams with monthly analysis on portfolio companies and quarterly investment committee reporting.
- Assist with quarterly monitoring of LP investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional RBC teams on existing and potential transactions.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, economics, accounting, or finance.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to analyze company financial statements and working knowledge of building financial models.
- Strong skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and the ability to source data/research.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to research a particular business or industry.
- Well organized and ability to set priorities and devote appropriate attention to each assignment resulting in performing well under pressure, meeting time sensitive deadlines, communicating effectively, and being able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a sense of urgency in a transactional environment.

Additional Information
This is a 4-month Winter 2025 Student placement with a start date of January 2025 and end-date of April 2025. To be eligible for this position, you must either be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2025, or if you are not returning back to school, but you require the work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.
