The Role

As a Project Coordinator for Fire Services, you will play a critical role in coordinating projects, supporting logistics officers and structure protection specialists, and assisting the superintendent in mobilizing resources to protect communities from wildfires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects and ensure timely completion
  • Support logistics officers and structure protection specialists in their duties
  • Assist the superintendent in mobilizing resources to protect communities from wildfires
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in project management or a related field and 1-year related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in project management or a related field and 2 years related experience; OR
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 3 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year Supervisory Experience
Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience with the deployment of Fire Services apparatus and command staff
  • Previous work experience with contract and procurement services
