Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance team with accounting issues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake accounting and consolidating financial results in a multiple currency environment, including supporting acquisition accounting and various global projects.
  • Review financial data, address regional or local accounting/reporting issues, and prepare consolidation journal entries.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, working papers, and liaising with external auditors as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Designated finance professional (CPA or equivalent) with 7+ years of progressive accounting & financial reporting experience in a large & complex organization.
  • US GAAP experience, including complex accounting concepts and consolidation in a multiple currency environment.
  • Acquisition accounting experience, including purchase price allocation and auditing of financial information.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of providing strategic input and macro analysis, as well as 'deep diving' into financial and operational detail.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, with experience creating and reviewing complex models.
  • Excellent oral, written communication skills to convey complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse group across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable, and able to adapt to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive self-starter and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
