We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Hearthstone Inn Dartmouth. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and handled in accordance with established food safety protocols and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Restaurant, hotel, motel, or resort.
