About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Aramark Canada Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the executive chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the executive chef in menu planning, preparation, and presentation;
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of food and supplies;
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery;
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cook or assistant chef in a commercial kitchen setting;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and technology;
