Job Title: Caregiver - Special Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Oakville Children's Home Ltd. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents with special needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment
  • Assist with recreational activities and outings
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
