About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pool Installation Assistant to join our team at Pro West Pools & Construction (2014) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of swimming pools, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Support tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, and storage.
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and wet/damp conditions.
Work Environment

Our team works outdoors in a variety of conditions, including dusty and wet/damp environments.

What We Offer
